Chasing Dreams ~ 4 Alumnae pursued coaching at the Collegiate Level

Chasing Dreams At Harford Gymnastics! Michaela earned a scholarship to Gannon University to compete on their Acro & Tumbling Team. Michaela was the HEAD Acro and Tumbling Coach at Limestone College and as head coach, Top-Seeded Limestone claimed the 2022 Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship title. Under her tutelege her team also won the Limestone's first ever women’s NATIONAL championship event, taking top honors in the pyramid open heat, defeating No. 1 Baylor at the 2022 NCATA Individual Event Finals. Michaela is now the FIRST HEAD COACH at Duquesne University for Acro and Tumbling. Former Harford Gymnastics team member Megan Despres is the head coach of the Acro and Tumbling Team at Stevenson University. Megan competed through Level 8 at Harford and went on to Coker College and Stevenson Univesity to compete on their Acro and Tumbling Team. Ashley LeVine Sauer, Level 10 National Competitor at Harford, is the assistant coach at Towson University Division I gymnastics team. She earned honors of being named the 2023 NATIONAL Assistant Coach of the year. Ashley followed in the footsteps of Harford Alumni Becky Schaller who previously was the assistant coach at Towson University where she was honored as Regional Assistant Coach of the year.
